My basketball arrived the day before yesterday, so yesterday when I had done all the house-chores (including tons of ironing) I went to throw it in Drayton Park(10-15 minutes to walk) Haa. Before it at home.. I managed to broke empty wine bottle. (I just thought I should mention it, as I haven't talked about broking things for a while, although I must have broke something..?)
Anyways. On my way down to Drayton Park I listened to my music, walked, looked down and Dandelion! (võilill) Blooming dandelion! Literally my mouth fell open, I looked back to be sure I wasn't daydreaming or anything. Yep, it was still there.
And my basketball playing. Khm, throwing! was good. Lousy hit rate but.. well, it's me and what else do you hope from me anyway.
As there is children playground just next to the court, there were many parents with their little children. And when I had been playing for about 40 minutes one man came with his son. I guess he was about 3? And he asked really sweetly if he could try to throw my ball. I smiled and said of course he can, but he had to go really close.
Haa, what do you think, did it help him, who was about less than a metre tall and the ball was half of his size, by going a bit closer?
Oh, he threw it and the ball ended on the ground about half an metre further. Then his dad held him up and I gave him the ball. Not much better really. So we tried couple more times and off they went.
But is was so sweet. The little boy was incredibly sweet :)
I went shortly after that as well, to get Ton and Amy from school.
In the evening when Tom went to Cubs, me and Amy came upstairs(it seems like my rooms are like.. oh privilege or something, so they both come running when I ask, if they maybe would like to do something in here)
So, oh, you don't know what Amy. She glued papers together. Eventually my piece of work as well and wrote on the cover paper "My portfolio. Amy S"
Somebody is someone's role model. And I truly believe she will be brilliant when she gets older to do proper artworks.
So yeah.
And in the morning she was surprisingly grumpy. But never mind. I managed talking to her (it didn't make it better but made me feel better that I was "sneaky" enough to get somewhere with it all) and.. well ended up being really crossed on our way to school but.. well, didn't mind really. And after school she was in better mood again.
After having their tea Amy went to Brownies and me and Tom came up and made some paper planes and paper hats. One huge hat as well. And one huge plane. Oh, it was cool :D
And now I´m looking couches in Brighton with Maria.. and I´m trying to sort some other things out as well.
And somehow I have like totally wiping out the fact from my head that I have another interview next week. Just.. don't think about it at all, although I guess I should.
Oh, and how did I forgot the silly thing Perry said.
At tea time.
Perry: "So Tommy, are you coming with me to get the cabinet or you´re going to stay here with Mari-Liis?"
Tom: "I´m gonna stay here with Mari-Liis"
Perry: "Mh, okey, what are you going to do then?"
Tom(importantly): "We already have plans with Mari-Liis in her room"
Perry(grinning): "Tom if you were a bit older I would be concerned"
Me: "Good one, Perry!"
Like seriously! :D
